Right now, I live in what's called a learning community, which is basically a sort of "themed" standard of living. I am in what's called the L.I.F.E. community, which is comprised of the .005% of SU students who don't want to drink. As I found out today, it's a pretty hard LC to get into...
In order to live in this LC for next year, the lovely people in the housing department decided that to prove our worthiness, we needed to write not one, not two, but THREE "essays" as to why we want to live on the L..I.F.E. floor next year. In one of my "essays" (and I use the " " because really it's just a long, typed answer), I wrote about what I like about this LC.
However, as part of the "what I like" section, I also included what I don't like about living here, which includes, "I love where this building is located, except for the fact that it's dyslogistically far from the rest of campus, and I have to hike a gigantic hill everyday."
Yup, I tell it like it is. Right now, how it is is pretty good. Maybe my LC will be even better next year. :)
