Now, because I don't want to risk accidentally writing something that shows anyone in this club in a light other than productive and respectful, I will just describe it to you. It is a satirical news group here at SU, and we're all incredibly funny and attractive. Our mascot is a fruit (surprise surprise).
Dictionary.com gave me this to work with today:
preconcert
adjective:
\ pree-kuhn-SURT \ , verb;
1. To arrange in advance or beforehand, as by a previous agreement.
1. Preceding a concert: a preconcert reception for sponsors .
I used ^^this word^^ at our biweekly meeting today. We broke up into small groups (because there are so many of us, as we are a highly sought out group) to discuss possibly silly news ideas. I, of course, was herded with the other film nerds. The four of us were in the midst of discussing the recent movies that came out while we were on winter break, which basically led to Django Unchained and Les Mis discussions. Side note: you should know that this group is funny because we make up about 90% of the news we report. It's based off of real information, but the directions we take these stories in goes way off the fiction charts. Way off.
Anyway, we were in the midst of discussing possible Django sequel or prequel news when I mentioned in the poised, astuteness that I always exhibit, "Looks like Django kind of preconcerts the violence level for any possible sequels". It was terribly witty, of course. You had to be there (off the charts sarcasm, I think there are better ways to use this word. I would suggest using it to describe an actual agreement or notion that happened before something else.)
To ease the awkwardness of this post, here's a picture of David Tennant to make your day. I know it always makes mine.
