Magic

Crouse. It's the building on campus we like to call our "Hogwarts." Don't  you wish we went to Hogwarts too?

Everyone wants to be thought of as special. Throughout our lives we wait for the chance of receiving our own "Welcome to Hogwarts!" letter. And when that age passes, maybe we'll develop our powers later in life because in actuality we're witches like in Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Or maybe someday you'll be the Doctor's companion.

They say it's enough to be just ourselves, but somehow I have a hard time believing what I know to be the truth. In philosophy class, we were discussing whether or not belief is a criteria for knowing something. We learned that 3 things combined constitute a person to knowing:

1) belief
2) justification
3) the statement at hand is true

Anyways at the end of the discussion, we concluded that belief is needed for knowledge, and that anyone who doesn't believe remains ignorant and therefore doesn't know. Or maybe in my case I want to believe in magic and all that, but I know it isn't true. Or maybe in my case I just refuse to face truth and choose ignorance. Or maybe in my case I'm just thinking too much.
