Admittedly these pictures were not taken today nor were they taken by me (after all, I am in the pictures :P). These pictures from New Year's Eve were sent to me today from Mona with the note: "I’m not putting them up because they’re not good quality."
"Good" photography or not, these pictures belong in this photo challenge because of the memories associated with it. Somehow, skill never quite trumps the meanings behind the doing. Where there is heart and passion, there is success. And I think the effort and interest in a subject is more important than technical skill. But I digress...
There is something to be said about the people you are willing to be crazy with. Whether "crazy" fits your personality or not, you're not afraid to try and experiment "crazy" around the people you're comfortable with. No judgements attached-- just laughter and a carefree attitude towards life.
However, looking back at these photos, I seemed most enthusiastic, inventing the most unattractive poses. I wonder what that means...
