It's about 4 days into the making of this blog, so we might as well show our faces. In all honesty though, it was convenient because today was the first time we've seen each other since LAST YEAR (<- because jokes like this are still valid past New Years Day).
After coming home from winter break and seeing all my high school friends, I wondered why I chose the friends I chose. Don't get me wrong, I love all the friends I've made in their own special way, but also I realize just how different they are. My elementary school friends are different than my junior high friends. My junior high friends are different than my high school ones. Same goes for college.
The basic conclusion I've come to is this: different stages in one's life calls for growth in different areas. And what better influence to grow than the friends which one surrounds himself with?
Presently, one of my major goals is becoming a doer, not just a dreamer. And the best part about being friends with Jillian is that we make our whacky ideas happen-- like this blog. So thanks, Jillian, for pushing me to follow through and being daring enough to start these projects with me :)
