Pseudology in Vegas

The title has nothing to do with what I did today. Actually, it had to do with that new TV show, Vegas, with Dennis Quaid.

Today's Word of the Day is this:

pseudology
\ soo-DOL-uh-jee \  , noun;
1. Lying considered as an art.

I used this word while watching Vegas with my mother.  Two guys were strapped to chairs, blood streaming from the tops of their heads.  There was clearly some violence and duplicity going on here.  It was then that I said to my mother, "There's a lot of pseudology in this show".

I had to say that, because this was the first time I ever even watched this!  Normally I'm not a big TV watcher, but when there's only a few days left before you go back to school, and you want to spend time with your family, and your family watches a lot of TV, then this is the option you have.

I don't think I'll be watching that show again.  Too much mendacity.
